My interest in animal behavior and training began as a teenager working in veterinary hospitals. I was saddened to see how many pets were abandoned or euthanized unnecessarily for behavior problems. This would later motivate me to study with some of the worlds top trainers, and experts in the field to find solutions that would save dogs and cats, and give them a better quality of life.
My training is based on the latest scientific research on how animals learn and the best ways to train them. With twenty five plus years experience training all breeds, along with my education in animal behavior and dog training, I have had great success working with thousands of pets and their families.
I have been training pets and their owners since 1991.
I use positive reinforcement and reward based training to help my clients build a strong foundation and trusting relationship with their pets. I individualize my training programs to fit the pet/owner team.
